Buttercups & Grassy Hills in Sunol
We got up early Easter morning for a hike up Flag Hill in Sunol. Lined with plush, grassy hills as far as the eye can see, it was hard not to see green. Buttercups bloomed everywhere along the route.
It was a beautiful, clear day without a cloud in the sky. Birds were chirping and newly bloomed wildflowers billowed in the breeze. The trek up was on the slightly steeper side, but short enough to finish in a few hours. Being one of the steeper trails, we only saw a few people along this route.
We stopped in a few spots to sit and enjoy the wildflowers.
Our sister-in-law's dog Bori was so tired afterwards. Here she is sitting in the backseat of our car. She had so much fun running around the fields. There was a point where we had to pick her up because the cows started chasing us! Yet another first for me :).
I hope everyone had a very happy April Fool's Day and Easter!
