An Afternoon Indoors on the Coast

This past weekend, we traveled up to Elk, CA to celebrate my husband’s cousin’s wedding. Since my husband was officiating, we booked a short stay along the coastline with a view of the ocean, framed by a June-gloom kind of fog. As we were fairly remote, we decided to stay in before the wedding festivities. We had a little impromptu photography session of our own as we got ready next to the blackout curtains in our bedroom. I loved the beautiful lighting effect they created.

We went through a few practice rounds of his officiant speech together and lazily rolled into the early afternoon.
