Art in Life
Life lately has been a constant transition. With vaccinations increasing, we’ve been easing out of our comfortable hermitage and gradually re-engaging with the world. Over the last month, we’ve been meeting up with a few friends.
As we’ve been settling into our new home this past year, rather than buy artwork, I decided to create my own depicting some of our fond memories with friends. In their own way, they help make our house a home, where we are surrounded by pieces that bring us joy.
I drew this 24”x36” piece in pencil and charcoal on archival paper from Dick Blick. The frame is from Opposite Wall, which is fairly economical for its size. The light is from West Elm.
Thanks for reading this short post of mine :).
