On our second day in Mount Rainier National Park, my friend Brenton came to join us on a hike through the Burroughs. The fog intermittently cleared to reveal spectacular views of the mountain while keeping us cool throughout the day.

I loved the open fields out here, covered in carpets of wildflowers. We couldn’t help stopping for photos, each of us with a different type of lens: landscape, portrait, and macro.

We took a few breaks in between, patiently waiting for the fog to clear and being rewarded with epic views.

We took several jump shots to time it right, but this shot made it worth bringing a tripod. Here’s to more crazy, fun adventures in the outdoors with this crew!
