Home for Thanksgiving

There’s nothing quite like Thanksgiving with family. Since we’ve been married, we alternate between families on Thanksgiving and Christmas every year.

With my mom, we spend Thanksgiving sleeping in, waking late in our pajamas, cooking, nibbling on sweets, and binge watching movies together all day. We won’t really get out of our comfy clothes until dinner time.

My mom will help set the table in fully curated fashion and make an epic feast together, often ending up with several days worth of leftovers so that we don’t have to cook for a while.

My mom made a flower arrangement this year, inspired by my husband’s hairdo!

We gather around the table and each year, someone braves cutting the turkey (since none of us are good at it!).

Our dog Mochi was so tired after his special turkey dinner, he immediately fell into a slumber next to us, while still trying to keep us company.

Hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving!
