Taking Shape

There's something soothing about embroidery - weaving in threads slowly and pulling them taut, watching the forms start taking shape and color. It's kind of like TIG welding and keeping a bead steady over time. 

It's been a slower process, but it's been nice coming home from work to reflect on everything that's happened this year while threading in strands one by one and watching the picture unfold. A bit more to go, but my mini embroidered bag is getting there!
