After Work Teatime

I cohosted a teatime after work with my coworkers at Samovar last week. It was a beautiful, airy spot in Yerba Buena with high glass walls and long wooden tables. Given the chillier weather, we sat inside, but there’s also outdoor seating to enjoy on a sunny day.

They have an extensive menu with a unique variety of both caffeinated and non-caffeinated teas as well as snacks and full tea inspired meals. We ordered several of their Mochi cakes, sweet snack platter, and generously sized scones.

My favorite was the cardamom infused Mochi cake. We ordered individual teas including Rooibos Ocean of Wisdom, Masala Chai, Chamomile Twist, Moorish Mint, and several others. 

I used to come here on the occasional weekend to enjoy a cup of tea and peaceful view of the city. We’ll be back for sure to enjoy another teatime soon!
