Sunday Stroll in Marin & Rodeo Beach
We took a short weekend hike along the Marin coastline, traversing Rodeo Beach and up into the hills towards the lighthouse. We met up with our friends Alan, Eileen, and their son Caden here. As we’ve been experiencing a warming trend, we initially arrived to a fog covered horizon, which gradually cleared away as we made our way towards the trail.
It was one of those days where it was early enough that the water was mirror-like in parts, and just starting to ripple from the soft billowing breeze in other pockets of the valley. And it was one of those days where you find yourself relaxing, simply taking the in fresh ocean air and enjoying a comfortable silence. And when immersed in companionable conversation catching up with our friends, it felt whimsical.
Here we are at the lighthouse, standing along a bridge traversing across the cliffs below. I’d do this morning hike again sometime or come here to enjoy a leisurely beach day with a good book or picnic. It was great to see our friends here after so many months.
