Snowshoeing in Yosemite’s Winter Wonderland

We changed our holiday plans last minute this year, after my parents suddenly got COVID. My husband found a last minute booking near Yosemite and gathered some friends to do some snowshoeing over a few days. It was beautifully crisp out here, with very few others on the trail as we headed towards Dewey Point.

We stayed for sunset up at the lookout and slowly made our way back in the night. It was so peaceful up here, with newly formed snowflakes glittering under our headlamps, keeping us company on the trek back to the car.
