A Little Gardening in Our Apartment

There is something soothing being surrounded by life, a bit of green in times like these. I spent an afternoon, gardening in our apartment as the sun streamed through the windows. I’d made planters at the pottery studio a while back and ordered a bit of soil and new plants. I pulled out the mini gardening kit my mother-in-law bought me for Christmas and laid out some old newspaper on the coffee table.

I found this cute Sophora Prostrata from a nursery online, along with some thyme I often use and cutoffs from green onions in my kitchen. Some other plants I’d love to add:

• Lavender

• Basil

• Chamomile Flowers

• Lilacs

• Jasmine

I found some of these at a local Home Depot. So excited to see our little garden grow.
