Mini Afternoon Tea on the Beach

We decided to go on a mini picnic this weekend with our friend Kader. We’ve been dog sitting this weekend and figured it’d be a fun afternoon treat for Bori to enjoy the beach with a little tea time for ourselves.

We brought cheese and a fresh French baguette, but these Raspberry Cave Cookies were great with tea. Along with mini cubes of sugar, Babka cake, tin dishes we picked up during our travels in Hanoi, and a bottle of milk, we had a mini feast by the sea.

Our little enamel cups have come in handy for our picnics since we don’t have to worry about breaking glass and they’re also easy to wash. With some hot water in our Swell bottles, we made a few rounds of tea in our mini Bodum French Press.

I always pack a little kitchen cloth and mini cutting board on our picnics. They’re portable and add a lot of character with very little. And a tea tin of course.

I never thought I might meet other people who appreciate teatime enough to enjoy this kind of outing with me. So happy to be able to spend the afternoon with these three (my husband, Kader, an Bori).

Cheers!
