Time at the Beach

One of the things I love about Southern California is the beaches. We stopped by the San Clemente Pier, Carlsbad Beach, and the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach - all in the span of a few days. 

I loved the pastel sunsets in Laguna Beach. One of our favorite things to do growing up was walking around the beach in front of the Montage Resort. There are beautiful succulent gardens and a paved path. 

It did get pretty chilly, as it does around the beach at winter. We bundled up in cozy sweaters and coats.

There is nothing like watching the sunset though and the sunset colors reflected in the sand, water, and building windows.
