Mother Daughter Time

Merry Christmas Eve! My husband and I are spending the Christmas holiday with my parents down in Southern California. Since my husband has been sleeping off a cold and my mom’s partner had to go to work, my mother and I’ve been watching terrible chick flick movies on Netflix and Property Brothers on HGTV. Add in several cups of chai, tea, and endless snacks. We went to get some fresh air by taking our dog Mochi for a walk. Around sunset, the colors were breathtaking :).

There were huge patches of these red berries growing everywhere, along with rosemary and blue berries as well.

I’m pretty sure Mochi saw a squirrel or lizard here:

Look at all those berries!

We spent so much time admiring the rosemary, Mochi got bored and walked us to the park:

We like to take him off leash at the park where he can run free. We still can’t keep up with him.
