Mini Christmas Tree
I came back to work today to find a corner of Christmas trees! My boss had cut some trees from his backyard for us. I took one home today :).
Since we don't have a lot of space, we trimmed the top of the tree off. My husband and I used a mitar saw to cut a wood block down to size. Then we used a 1/2" drill bit to cut a hole all the way through. The hole helped keep the tree in place and upright.
To keep the tree watered and moist, we filled the bottom of the hole with cotton balls. We placed the entire block, propped up on a few coins, into a dish of water.
I bought a string of fairy lights from Amazon and added all the mini ornaments. Most are from Crate and Barrel over the years. One of these days, I might make some felt ornaments of my own! I love the holidays!
