Garden in the Woods
May has quickly become a very busy work travel month for both me and my husband. I started the month in Boston last week. While the work week was busy and very productive, I made a trip out to see the Garden in the Woods and do a bit of unwinding.
I was amazed by how delicate and slim the trees appeared to be. I’ve become so used to the thicker trees back home. These reminded me of trees I’d seen in paintings.
Wildflowers were blooming everywhere and trees were dotted in sheets of flowers, layer by layer.
There’s something incredibly soothing and refreshing about being in nature. It’s a grounding experience that helps me unwind, but also refocus and often find the answers I’m looking for. Onwards to a night in San Francisco and a week in Seattle!
