Mini Chocolate Stout Bundt Cakes
One of my favorite cakes fresh from the oven is this chocolate stout cake recipe I shared in a previous post. When you’re feeling a rich, but not heavy chocolate cake, nothing quite like it hits the spot. And when you’re feeling tired and worn, there’s something decadent and indulgent about eating these cakes in the kitchen with someone special at an odd hour of the day, as if you’re sharing a little secret.
As much as my mom chuckled at my choice in plates when I bought these blue antiques, I love using these in photos. If you’re looking for a range in styles at reasonable prices, check out replacements. My favorites are by the Johnson Brothers.
I love to dust a little powdered sugar or a chocolate glaze on top. I’m still working on finding the perfect combination of baking times to get the most moist cakes, but I’ve found this recipe is also nice paired with a cream cheese frosting.
Onwards to more baking adventures on a rainy day!
