Lazy Sunday

We spent a quiet day taking it slow and doing a bit of exploring on foot. We started with a latte love at a local bakery. Out of the many bakeries we've tried to date, this is one of the few places where I feel like I can literally just eat bread (without any on top or in between).

They had some outdoor seating with some marble like tables and rustic ones too. I kept eyeing this table here, thinking it would be perfect for some food photography, but stifled the urge. It was a brisk, but beautiful fall morning.

Though it was the perfect fall scene outside, we snuck inside as soon as a table opened to hide away from the chilly breeze. We've enjoyed a long summer this year, but I think fall is finally here. I stayed bundled up, even inside!

We took a longer walk in the afternoon, while still getting used to the end of daylight savings. We ended up in the Presidio and discovered this alcove surrounded by eucalyptus trees. I've seen this place on Pinterest before and I've had this on my bucket list for some time, but never came until today.

It looked like a scene from Pride and Prejudice:

My husband also bought a film camera earlier in the day and we spent the afternoon testing it out. This seemed like the perfect place!

From the loop we took, we ended up climbing quite a few steps to get back to our car. Here we are after getting up to the top:

There’s a beautiful view of the bay from here and also some amazing homes!
